Join Our Team as an Electronics Assembly Specialist
SoftWash Systems is seeking a skilled Electronics Assembly Specialist to enhance our production capabilities. This role is essential in our commitment to delivering high-quality products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and systems according to specified work orders and visual instructions.
- Conduct mechanical assembly tasks while utilizing standard measuring tools and techniques.
- Perform electronic assembly operations, including wire termination and installation of various electronic components.
- Ensure adherence to IPC-A-610 (class 3) standards for soldering practices.
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify the accuracy of assembly operations based on provided drawings.
- Execute rework on units as directed by engineering and testing teams.
- Communicate and implement corrective actions for any assembly errors detected.
- Follow established AS9100:D standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in electronic assembly and soldering.
- Ability to interpret assembly drawings and instructions effectively.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as cutters, pliers, screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
- Capable of identifying electronic components and orienting them correctly on circuit boards.
- Experience with crimping, cable, and harnessing, as well as chassis wiring skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a collaborative work ethic.
