Event Support Specialist

**Job Description**
The General Clerk III position at the TSA Conference Center is responsible for assisting with conference setup, customer service, and day-to-day operations. This includes:
- Monitoring AGILQuest and email for requests and inquiries.
- Maintaining daily logs of requests and complaints.
- Participating in the setup and breakdown of conference center builds.
- Providing customer service to employees and guests who approach/contact the Welcome Center desk.
- Coordinating temporary lighting, IT, or other sub-contracted services required for conferences.
- Providing follow-up service with conference hosts to ensure all needs are met before their conference is scheduled to start.
- Monitoring, managing, and troubleshooting equipment within the conference center (printers, copiers, lighting, etc.).
- Coordinating pre and post-conference cleaning.
- Using knowledge of the building layout to direct/escort employees and visitors when necessary/acceptable.
**Requirements**
- High School diploma or equivalent plus one year of customer service, event support, or front desk related experience required.
- Must possess adequate communication skills including the ability to read, write, speak, understand English, and basic correspondence.
- Familiarity with computers and basic keyboarding abilities.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security badge.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
**Estimated Salary**
The estimated salary for this position is $21.47 per hour.
