Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough analyses of wholesale electricity markets to identify potential hedging strategies, effectively communicating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Monitor national trends that may influence the renewable energy sector and assess their implications for customer competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with various ENGIE project teams, including development, construction, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide insights on structuring and risk mitigation for new projects, including reviewing term sheets and analyzing existing agreements.
  • Facilitate ENGIE's internal approval processes to streamline project initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field with a focus on contracts management and risk analysis.
  • A minimum of seven years of experience in the energy sector with a strong emphasis on analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong commercial awareness combined with technical and analytical expertise.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and high energy.
  • Exceptional technical writing and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance and effective time management capabilities.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work across various departments and with external partners.

Additional Information

  • This position supports a hybrid work model.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 15% is required.

Compensation Details

The salary range for this position is $96,100 – $147,660 USD annually, depending on various factors such as experience and education. This role also includes eligibility for a competitive bonus/incentive plan.
