Job Overview

DXP Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our industrial customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding company products and services
  • Process customer phone orders and check availability of stock and shipping dates
  • Quote prices, fill orders to customer specifications, and process sales data via computer
  • Assist the outside sales team by preparing price quotes and sourcing products

Requirements:

  • Industrial products knowledge and mechanical aptitude a plus
  • Safety product knowledge helpful
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Prior inside sales/customer service experience
