The CNC Lathe Programmer is a critical role within our Engineering Department, responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for lathe machines to produce precision components for aerospace, defense, and medical applications. This position requires expertise in Master Cam software and a deep understanding of machining processes, materials, and quality standards. Key responsibilities include program development, technical drawing interpretation, tool selection, setup and testing, collaboration with cross-functional teams, documentation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and quality control standards, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Master Cam software and other CAD/CAM tools is essential. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, machinists, and quality control teams to resolve issues and improve machining processes.
