Job Description

Position Title: Final Quality Assurance Inspector III

Overview:

The Final Quality Assurance (FQA) Inspector is responsible for conducting final inspections and various quality assessments to ensure that the finished products meet compliance standards and procedural requirements. This role reports to the Manufacturing Quality Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Inspections and Sampling: Perform comprehensive cosmetic and functional inspections across all product lines, including PCBA and box builds. Ensure that finished products comply with ISO 900X, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 standards, as well as ESD practices and proper material handling.
  2. Operate Critical Equipment: Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and other manufacturing documentation to approve or reject final assemblies. Record daily test results and perform data entry to support production schedules.
  3. Team Support: Demonstrate effective work methods to new team members, share best practices, assist with minor troubleshooting, and engage in cross-training activities.
  4. Leadership Responsibilities: Lead the work of the cell, delegate routine tasks, manage team attendance, and track performance metrics.
  5. Additional Duties: Perform other related responsibilities as assigned in the realm of Quality Assurance.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in First Article, In-Process, FQA, or Receiving Inspection within an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
