About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Boston. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting revenue growth by identifying and submitting qualified leads, while maintaining relationships and representing Cytiva while at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repairs of instruments at customer sites
  • Responsible for administrative tasks of scheduling service, completing documentation, and maintaining inventory
  • Engage as part of a wider customer-facing team including but not limited to Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account Managers
Requirements
  • Background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or any related STEM experience
  • Working knowledge of calibrated tools, hand tools, and power tools
  • Outstanding communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to provide an exceptional internal or external customer experience
Travel and Physical Requirements

This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 50% overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.
