Job Summary

Senta ENT and Allergy Physicians is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Professional to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our physicians in providing safe and quality patient care in our medical offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physicians in Patient Care: Provide support to physicians during office visits, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Diagnostic Procedures: Perform skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and draw blood for laboratory tests as instructed by physicians.
  • Immunotherapy Administration: Administer immunotherapy injections and maintain accurate records of treatment.
  • Emergency Response: Treat emergency and priority patients, including the use of CPR if necessary.
  • Communication and Education: Assist physicians with patient communication, including instructions for sick patients and prescription refills, and educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plan, and use of equipment and medication delivery devices.
  • Environmental Control: Maintain a clean and safe environment in the medical office, adhering to clinic health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience and Education: 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant, with a valid and current licensure to practice in the state of GA.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and communicate with adult and pediatric patients and families.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel to multiple office locations as needed and adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with clinic practice standards, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of medical terminology and confidentiality obligations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: One year of previous employment in a medical setting, with experience in allergy and asthma care preferred but not required.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
