Production Engineering Specialist

Our Cordella Heart Failure System (CHFS) includes proactive management tools for best practice care and detection of worsening heart failure.

As a Production Engineer 1, you will work with all production lines to help improve process efficiency, scalability, and quality.

You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to investigate, dispose, and document non-conforming materials.

Additionally, you will assist in ensuring the appropriate inventory of finished goods, reviewing quality records, and supporting the control, investigation, and documentation of non-conforming materials.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and analyzing current production methods to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborating with Manufacturing Engineering and Production Manager to analyze process efficiency and complete time studies
  • Updating manufacturing procedures, inspection procedures, forms, and checklists
  • Creating and reviewing process documentation to support changes and improvements in the production process
  • Reviewing quality records generated for the production lines
  • Supporting the control, investigation, disposition, and documentation of non-conforming material
  • Collaborating with Production Manager, Quality, and Operations to ensure appropriate inventory of finished goods

Requirements include:

  • 0-1 years of related experience in Engineering or Manufacturing/Operations
  • Excellent technical writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • BS in an engineering discipline, biomedical engineering, or industrial engineering preferred
