**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Educator to join our team at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in assisting with in-service programs, orientation, and skills training for nurses and other staff members across all clinical areas.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assist with the development and implementation of in-service programs, ensuring that all staff members receive the necessary training to provide high-quality patient care.

* Collaborate with hospital management and staff to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these needs.

* Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the continuous enhancement of our hospital's quality of care.

* Serve as a resource person for staff and management, providing guidance and support as needed.

* Assist with hospital orientation and employee health nurse as required.

**Requirements**

* Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky or a current Registered Nurse licensure with a multistate compact status.

* A minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a preference for experience as a Clinical Instructor.

* Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS, PALS, and/or ACLS is required, with additional certifications preferred.

* Strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a stressful environment.

**Language Skills**

* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
