Physical Therapist Assistant

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation therapy procedures to patients under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist. Your expertise will be essential in assisting with patients/caregiver education, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement treatment programs to restore and return maximal function to patients.
- Assess the effectiveness of treatment and modify goals/treatment methods as needed to meet changing patient needs.
- Document treatment of each patient in compliance with department standards, medical-legal, and reimbursement procedures.
- Train and educate other rehabilitation staff, nursing, and medical personnel on patient needs and rehabilitation services.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement, patient satisfaction initiatives, program development, and marketing activities.
- Associate's Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
- LIC-Physical Therapist Assistant license in the State of Michigan.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- LIC-Driver's License in the State of Michigan.
