The WelbeHealth Ambulatory Care Nursing Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the delivery of exceptional outpatient clinic care while maintaining effective clinic operations. Under the guidance of the Clinical Services Director (CSD), the Ambulatory Care Nursing Supervisor organizes and oversees the daily functions within the clinic, manages the clinic personnel, and meticulously coordinates clinic workflows to guarantee the provision of effective WelbeHealth clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-functioning, well-equipped, and safe clinic environment, ensuring operational efficiency, clarity, and adherence to protocols.
  • Recruit, retain, mentor, and supervise the RN Case Managers, Clinic RNs, Medical Assistants, and other clinic team members, fostering engagement and well-being.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities, conducting root cause analysis, evaluating care delivery processes, and making informed recommendations to the CSD for improvements in strategies, workflows, and policies.
  • Ensure nursing and clinic staff provide and accurately document interventions as outlined in participants' care plans, including timely and precise responses to physician orders, completing assessments, and actively participating in care planning for all assigned participants.
  • Assess the quality and effectiveness of coordination and services in collaboration with medical practice leadership, providers, case managers, and other relevant interdisciplinary team members.
  • In partnership with the CSD and Quality Improvement Director, act as the audit lead for clinical and nursing components during regulatory audit reviews.
  • Develop and oversee corrective action plans to maintain ongoing compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related healthcare field is preferred; relevant professional experience may be considered.
  • A valid, unencumbered registered nurse (RN) state license is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience managing an outpatient clinic operation, including RN, LVN, and MA staff; equivalent nurse leadership experience in a high-volume, outpatient setting may be accepted.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clinical environment serving a frail or elderly population.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $137,468.29—$175,961.95 USD annually, plus bonuses and equity. WelbeHealth provides a competitive total rewards package that includes 401(k) matching, healthcare coverage, and a wide array of other benefits. Actual compensation will be adjusted based on experience and qualifications.
