Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Family Practice. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, vision screening, and laboratory tests, as directed by physicians and nurses.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with clinical procedures, exams, and office diagnostic procedures.
  • Coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless delivery and maximal coordination of efforts.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to address individual and family needs.
  • Prepare and process e-prescriptions, inspect, clean, and prepare instruments and equipment, and process specimens for transport to the laboratory.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program with 1+ years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant.
  • Current certification as a Medical Assistant or eligible for certification.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
