Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, analyzing, interpreting, and understanding the English language.
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Maintain the ability to stand or walk for the duration of scheduled shifts.
  • Execute basic computer functions effectively.
  • Lift, push, pull, and regularly handle weights of 25 lbs., with occasional lifting of up to 60 lbs.
  • Work with various food products, including fresh, dried, and processed items, without adverse allergic reactions.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Follow the HAZCOM program and adhere to safety instructions for chemical products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment according to departmental quality assurance standards.
  • Communicate and enforce safety policies and procedures consistently.
  • Supervise the safe operation of equipment by team members.
  • Understand emergency procedures and respond appropriately.

Customer Engagement:

  • Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Promote charitable initiatives to customers.
  • Assist in onboarding new team members, including interviewing and training.
  • Provide ongoing training and constructive feedback to team members.
  • Encourage a positive customer experience through teamwork and recognition.

Operational Excellence:

  • Ensure accurate pricing and labeling of products.
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure proper product rotation.
