Retail Sales Associate

Frost Bake Shop is a local and family-owned business that specializes in baked goods and desserts. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service in a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Ensure outstanding customer service by modeling exemplary service delivery, including acknowledging every customer, answering the phone in a timely manner, and maintaining exceptional standards for cleanliness and product quality.
- Product Management: Handle customer payments with accuracy and discretion, protect credit card information at all times, and maintain appropriate stock levels in front cases, staging area, and cold case.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Complete cleaning tasks on a continuous basis, including washing dishes, wiping tables, chairs, and cases, and refer to the weekly cleaning list for additional duties when customer traffic is slow.
- Baking and Preparation: Bake cookies as inventory levels necessitate, ensure consistent quality of products through proper oven temperature, and document all products baked thoroughly and accurately.
- Communication Skills: Ability to develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with vendors, customers, and other employees.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills for the performance of a variety of complex administrative duties, ability to prioritize tasks, and accuracy and attention to detail.
- Physical Demands: Regularly required to talk and hear, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, frequently lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 50 lbs.
