Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance team and ensure the integrity of our property. This is a key role in our build-to-rent Townhome community, and we are looking for a candidate who can make a positive impact.

Responsibilities
• Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of maintenance staff, working closely with the Property Manager to ensure effective team management
• Conduct regular property inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them promptly
• Follow up on service requests performed by the maintenance team to ensure timely completion
• Complete work orders in a timely manner, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance
• Inspect and coordinate the make-ready process to ensure properties are ready for occupancy
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, treating residents, staff, and vendors with professionalism and respect
• Maintain property grounds and common areas to meet company standards
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of our properties
• Maintain a clean and organized shop and other work areas, adhering to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred
• Valid Driver's License required
• EPA HVAC certification preferred
• Lease-up experience highly desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
