Public Health Dentist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Health Dentist to join our team at the City of El Paso, TX. As a Public Health Dentist, you will provide professional chairside dental services to primarily pediatric patients and supervise clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide preventive, restorative, and surgical dental services
- Supervise assigned personnel, including scheduling, assigning, instructing, guiding, and checking work
- Appraise employee performance, provide training and development, and enforce personnel rules and regulations
- Comply with OSHA guidelines, radiation safety guidelines, and hazardous chemical guidelines
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed to practice dentistry by the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners
- Certified to write prescriptions by federal and state regulatory authorities
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license or equivalent from another state
This is an unclassified contract position, and employment is predicated on the continuation of state/federal funding. The position is part-time, and applicants are encouraged to apply immediately.
