Staff Nurse-Medical Surgical Float Pool-Mount Sinai Hospital-Full Time

At Mount Sinai Health System, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of medicine. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse (Float Pool) to join our team at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care by incorporating the principles of Relationship Centered Care and the nursing process.
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills to manage patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing, allocating resources effectively.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active matriculation in a BSN program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
