Position Overview:

Our client, a prominent organization in the Baton Rouge area, is in search of a Senior Process/Project Engineer who will:

  • Provide expert process and technical guidance on both continuous and batch operations while devising effective solutions to process-related challenges.
  • Foster and sustain productive collaborations with production engineers, supervisors, research and development teams, and maintenance personnel.
  • Engage in travel, approximately 10% of the time, to various plant locations across the country.

Compensation:
Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000, complemented by bonuses, benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for ongoing career advancement.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the engineering design of chemical facilities, including practical troubleshooting expertise.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A solid understanding of chemical engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with piping and equipment regulations, as well as product safety standards.
  • Proficiency in PLC and DCS control systems.
  • A motivated, results-driven mindset with a hands-on approach and a collaborative engineering style.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
