Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Bradenton, FL. As a Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as ordered and document patient responses
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post-procedure
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
  • Transports patients as needed

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred
  • Other certifications may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • PC skills
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
