Job Summary

CHS Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Grain Settlement Specialist to join its finance team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for business unit customers and vendors through the entire procure-to-pay process, while also identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex escalated issues and ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collection of money due to the company.
  • Maintain accurate and complete client files and make recommendations to improve invoicing and collection procedures.
  • Monitor processing of invoices and ensure timely payments, while reviewing client documentation to ensure proper systems setup and compliance with accounting procedures.
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping of purchases for tax preparation and periodic audits, and train and provide guidance to Accounts Receivable/Payable team members as needed.
  • Perform data entry in the Accounts Payable/Account Receivable System from source documents, complete necessary coding, confirm accuracy of data, and make necessary corrections.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or AP/AR.
  • High School diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient in MS Office suite.
  • Experience using automated financial and accounting systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
