Schedule: Monday to Friday, varying hours between 6:00 AM - 8:15 AM and 3:15 PM - 5:30 PM
Compensation: $14.00 per hour
Education Requirement: High School diploma or GED; ideally with one to three months of relevant experience or training, or a suitable combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license and a clean background check are mandatory. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be necessary depending on the role.
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring safe transportation for clients while completing necessary documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure safe transportation of clients.
- Conduct Pre-Trip Inspections before each route.
- Verify that no clients remain on the vehicle at the end of each route.
- Assist clients in reaching their designated areas.
- Submit daily documentation including Transportation Logs and Pre-Trip Inspection reports.
- Maintain an organized vehicle binder with essential documentation, including seating charts and emergency procedures.
- Ensure that client information is current and accessible during transport.
- Submit gas receipts monthly.
- Complete and submit monthly vehicle inspections as required.
- Report all transportation-related incidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in scheduled staff meetings.
- Complete all mandatory training promptly.
- Submit Work Orders for vehicle maintenance and other issues.
- Perform minor vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.
- Assist in the scheduling and delivery of vehicles for maintenance.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a valid AR Driver's License and ensure HR has a copy on file. A CDL may be required for this position.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality regarding all information related to Friendship Community Care, Inc., its programs, and clients, in accordance with the organization's Non-Disclosure Policy and HIPAA regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret various instructions provided in different formats.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE: Compliance with Quality Assurance and HIPAA procedures is essential:
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Compliance Investigation Procedures as outlined in new employee training.
- Maintain and complete consumers' progress notes daily or as needed using prescribed forms.
- Keep consumers' records updated weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly, filing information as required by funding sources.
