Lemon Squad stands as the leading automotive inspection service in the United States, boasting the most extensive network of inspectors across the nation, including Hawaii and Alaska.

Job Role

This role is classified as a CONTRACT/1099 position. We are actively seeking Mobile Pre-Purchase Inspectors in various locations throughout the country. Join our innovative team that is transforming how consumers approach automotive purchases.

Lemon Squad provides thorough pre-purchase inspections for a wide range of vehicles, including pickup trucks, SUVs, and sedans, both foreign and domestic. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service.

Compensation

Our Pre-Purchase Inspections offer a competitive pay rate of $100.00 per inspection, with most evaluations taking under an hour. Additional compensation is available for inspections involving exotic cars, classic vehicles, RVs, boats, and more. A flat rate is provided for assignments within a specified radius, with potential for negotiation beyond that range.

Qualifications

Are you the right candidate? We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in using a cell phone and computer
  • Capable of working independently with a self-motivated approach
  • Reliable with dependable transportation

Additional requirements include:

  • Availability during daylight hours
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive maintenance or as a service writer
  • Ability to travel to vehicle locations using your own vehicle
  • Completion of assignments within a 48-hour timeframe

Essential tools required before your first assignment:

  • Scan tool
  • A valid state driver's license along with current vehicle insurance and registration
  • A cell phone or camera capable of taking photos
  • A magnet or paint thickness gauge
  • Access to a computer with a printer
