Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in a school district in Texas. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders, evaluate and diagnose communication disorders, and develop treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to diagnose communication disorders in students.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations and assessments to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teachers and parents, to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of evaluations, assessments, and therapy sessions.
  • Attend meetings and provide regular reports on student progress to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A valid Texas State SLP License is required, and a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent is also required.
  • Prior school-based experience is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks and manage a caseload effectively.
