We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at The Hartford. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing complex data assets that support decision making via prototyping, data discovery, and profiling.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data assets using Informatica, B2B, PL/SQL, and Hadoop.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolution of business and technical issues.
- Collaborate with business partners and Performance Analytics teams to develop requirements for data assets and prototyping.
- Design and implement ETL processes and oversee their operation.
- Participate in the development of the implementation plan as a subject matter expert.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Additionally, the candidate should have experience in best practices in Data Processes, SDLC practices, Distributed systems, Data warehousing solutions, SQL, ETL tools, Bigdata and Datalake, CICD, Cloud Technologies (AWS), R, Python/Spark, and Warehouse applications knowledge in financial and insurance domain.
What We OfferThe Hartford offers a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $170,040 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including short-term and annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
