Job Summary

The OB/GYN Hospitalist will provide inpatient obstetric care, including labor and delivery support, consultations, and emergency surgeries. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient obstetric care, including labor and delivery support and emergency surgeries
  • Consult with local obstetricians and other healthcare providers as needed
  • Collaborate with the hospital's anesthesia, pediatric, and psychiatric teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of hospital policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Current licensure in Alaska
  • Excellent clinical skills and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
