Ozarks Healthcare seeks a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Director to lead our clinical laboratory services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in laboratory science and management, with a proven track record of ensuring efficient operation of clinical laboratories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate administrative, fiscal, regulatory, and technical activities to ensure the smooth operation of the clinical laboratory.
- Oversee a wide range of laboratory services, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Serology/Immunology, Urinalysis, Microbiology, Transfusion Services, Phlebotomy, Point of Care, Pathology, Histology, Cytology, and Rural Health Service Clinic laboratories.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve laboratory operations and patient care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to laboratory staff, including training and development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or related field.
- Significant experience in laboratory management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
