Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Experis. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial accounting data across daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Produce accurate and timely monthly Accounts Receivables aging reports and forecast cash receipts.
  • Handle foreign currency reporting on a periodic basis, including bank fees.
  • Manage periodic cash flow reporting for the Finance Manager.
  • Lead the balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring compliance with internal audit requirements.
  • Serve as the primary contact for internal audits.
  • Update accounting procedures as needed.
  • Prepare sales tax filings.
  • Provide coverage for the Financial Manager during absences.
  • Assist in budget preparation and forecasting as requested.
  • Support the preparation of management reporting packs for submission to Head Office.
Daily Tasks:
  • Process day-to-day accounting transactions.
  • Oversee vendor creation and master data management.
  • Process invoices, including capturing General Ledger codes, matching supporting documentation, securing authorization, and submitting invoices for payment runs.
  • Manage bank transactions, deposits, and check approvals.
  • Control client accounts, post daily cash receipts, and follow up on payment statuses.
  • Oversee company ledgers, journal entries, and their preparation and upload.
  • Report any discrepancies.
  • Place purchase orders for the Commercial team.
  • Promote correct Purchase to Pay (P2P) behaviors.
  • Perform administrative and office tasks as needed.
Financial Transaction Processing and Month-End Activities:
  • Conduct Accounts Receivable analysis and prepare month-end reports.
  • Maintain fixed asset depreciation schedules and asset inventory.
  • Manage the prepaid amortization register, accruals entries, and monthly reconciliations.
  • Process payroll entries.
  • Handle intercompany confirmations and accruals.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger reconciliations, miscellaneous entries, and adjustments.
  • Download and review Concur expense reports.
  • Complete other month-end duties as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Accounting or Finance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, excellent IT skills with a focus on technology, and proficiency in SAP ERP, Blackline, Power BI, Workday Adaptive, and Microsoft 365 (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
