Job Description

At Walmart, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Associate to join our team. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, including operating a cash register, handling customer transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals, provide support and assistance as needed, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces, and adhering to food safety and handling procedures.
Requirements:
  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in a food service environment, including preparing and serving food and beverages, is preferred.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers and resolve customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, provide support and assistance as needed, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
  • Sanitation and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures, as well as the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
