Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at ATC White Plains. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care and collaborate with patients, family members, peers, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Implement and evaluate medical and nursing regimens in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with current New York registration.
  • Baccalaureate in Nursing (BSN) required for all external RNs hired on or after January 1st, 2018.
  • One year of acute care nursing experience preferred for areas other than medical surgical or step-down.
  • BLS certification (through American Heart Association) is required.
  • ACLS certification (through American Heart Association) is required for all RNs, except for NICU and OR RNs.

Work Environment

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions and must be able to adapt to rapidly changing situational needs of patients, department, and hospital. The position requires ability to move about freely at least 85% of the time and must be able to remain stationary for extended periods.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and is passionate about delivering high-quality services in a dynamic and challenging environment.
