Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Lead Clerical, the Patient Services Coordinator will be responsible for welcoming clients, assisting visitors, managing patient registration, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a smooth patient flow while delivering outstanding customer service. *Fluency in Korean is required. Applications from non-Korean speakers will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome clients courteously and efficiently.
  • Assist clients by addressing their inquiries and fulfilling their requests with patience.
  • Prepare necessary documentation and information prior to patient arrivals.
  • Conduct the registration process accurately, entering patient data into the RIS and resolving discrepancies with patients, clinics, or insurance providers as necessary.
  • Administer exam questionnaires with patients as required.
  • Digitally archive relevant information to patient records in the RIS.
  • Manage patient check-in/out processes, collect payments, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Proactively assist patients who may have difficulty with mobility or completing forms.
  • Document pertinent information in patient records within the RIS.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Prior experience in customer service, cash handling, and attention to detail is highly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year in customer service (Preferred)
  • Familiarity with medical terminology (Preferred)
  • Basic computer skills (Preferred)

Language Proficiency:

Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence. Must be able to communicate effectively in both one-on-one and small group settings. Fluency in Korean or Chinese is mandatory.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in word processing software, internet applications, RIS, and PACS is essential for this role.
