Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive programs in specialty areas such as cooking, sewing, crafts, and painting.
  • Provide excellent customer service to members and participants, ensuring a positive experience for all.
  • Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive environment for children, adhering to YMCA standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless program delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in specialty instruction or a related field preferred.
  • Must be at least 17 years old; 18 or older preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and implement age-appropriate games and activities.
  • Enthusiasm, high energy, and exceptional human relations and motivational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $13.00 to $19.00.
