Swim Instructor Opportunity
The YMCA of Central Texas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels, creating a safe and enjoyable environment that promotes member wellness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels
- Create a safe and enjoyable environment that promotes member wellness and engagement
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our members
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a positive and inclusive experience for all members
Requirements:
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
- CPR/AED, First Aid, and Oxygen certification (classes available)
- Must demonstrate swimming ability
- Applicants will be required to pass reference checks, a criminal history background check, sex offender check, and pre-employment drug screen
Pay and Benefits:
- $15.00 - $19.00 per hour based on experience and certifications
- Free family YMCA membership for all employees
