The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is accountable for overseeing and facilitating efficient patient flow within the hospital's care delivery system. This role serves as a vital communication link between the admitting department and nursing units, ensuring that patient care is delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a clinical expert, providing guidance and supervision in both direct and indirect patient care processes.
- Demonstrate competent leadership during hospital codes and crisis situations.
- Represent department and hospital executives in their absence, addressing concerns and reporting significant events to the designated administrative personnel on call.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including supervisory roles in an acute care setting. A current RN license from the state of Texas is required, along with CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Additional certifications, such as ACLS, NIHSS, and de-escalation training, must be obtained within specified time frames upon hire or transfer.
Work Type:
This position is classified as Per Diem As Needed. Christus Health is committed to providing an accessible environment for all users.
