Optical Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optical Manager to join our team at Walmart. As an Optical Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Vision Center team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.

• Lead and manage a team of opticians and sales associates to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer engagement
• Ensure accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels
• Model and enforce customer service approaches and techniques to ensure customer needs are met
• Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage associates to serve as good members of the community
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates
• Consult with and educate customers on eyewear products and services
• Perform minor frame repair and maintain optical equipment

• Completion of 2 or more years of college or 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience or 2 years' general work experience including 1 year's optical experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules
