Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Serra Chevrolet of Bartlett. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed
  • Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs and execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
  • Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
  • ASE certifications and GM training required
