Job Description

At Ryder, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Mobile Light and Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including tune-ups, oil changes, tire changes, and fluid checks.
  • Assist or receive guidance from a higher-grade maintenance specialist to diagnose and repair complex issues.
  • Perform basic diagnostics and hydraulic brake inspections, repairs, and replacements.
  • Represent Ryder to establish relationships with customers and ensure proper documentation of work orders and repair notes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more in combination of classroom training and work experience.
  • Non-Commercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred.
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A, preferred.

  • Competitive hourly pay rate: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.
  • Sign-on bonus: $1500 Ryder pays you $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days.
