In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering high-quality patient care. As a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pain management services to patients suffering from chronic pain, using cutting-edge techniques and technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for teaching and mentoring. You will be responsible for participating in on-call rotations, teaching neurological exams, image interpretation, and clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of various pain management conditions.

The position is 100% outpatient, with hours primarily between 8:00 am-4:00 pm Monday - Friday. The current call expectation is approximately one week every 5-7 weeks (will discuss further during the interview process).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pain management services to patients suffering from chronic pain.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to address post-procedure questions or concerns.
  • Teach neurological exams, image interpretation, and clinical expertise in diagnosis and management of various pain management conditions.

Requirements:

  • Physician Assistant:
    • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by PA Board of Medicine.
    • Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant training program.
    • Minimum one-year experience as a Physician Assistant is preferred.
    • Valid, unrestricted federal Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number.
    • Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.
  • Nurse Practitioner:
    • Valid Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse.
    • Certification by ANCC or other qualifying agency in area of specialty required.
    • Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania.
    • Minimum one-year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
    • Credentialed by the medical staff in accordance with current policy and procedure.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
