As a Pest Management Specialist, your primary role will involve collaborating with diverse clients in the hospitality sector and various commercial enterprises. By delivering exceptional services and devising effective solutions to pest-related challenges, you will assist our clients in safeguarding their reputation and fostering their success. Our extensive PAID TRAINING program spans 5 weeks, equipping you with the necessary tools and resources to excel in your profession, even if you have no prior experience. Once you establish a consistent route, this position offers flexible scheduling and the autonomy to manage the customer accounts you oversee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of clients, partnering with them to identify and address pest management needs.
  • Stay informed about Ecolab's product and service offerings as well as industry trends to enhance service delivery and promote pest prevention solutions.
  • Utilize handheld computerized devices to manage service tasks and document structural, sanitation, and pest-related issues.

Position Overview:

  • This is a field-based role that may require travel within the surrounding areas.
  • Work schedule:
    • Day Shift; Monday- Friday (8am-5pm)

During the training phase, you will need to travel to Ecolab's Corporate Headquarters for one week. Travel typically occurs during the third week, with the remaining weeks dedicated to in-field training. Ecolab will cover travel expenses and related costs.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of work experience or military service.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts as needed.
  • Willingness to be on call during off-hours and weekends as necessary.
  • Must be able to obtain the necessary pest certification and/or business licensing as required by state/local regulations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age due to the nature of the work.
  • Background checks and drug screenings will be conducted for all candidates receiving job offers.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.
  • Must be able to work in various conditions, including confined spaces, damp or dusty environments, and extreme temperatures.
  • Essential duties include lifting, kneeling, crouching, reaching, using hands and fingers, balancing, walking, standing, talking, and hearing.
  • Drive a company vehicle as necessary to perform job duties (motor vehicle record checks will be conducted pre-employment and ongoing).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Ability to sell value-added products to existing clients.
  • Experience in the pest control industry or route management is preferred.
