Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pathology Supervisor to join our team at The Hospitals of Providence. As a Pathology Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising laboratory staff, ensuring the quality and accuracy of laboratory testing, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise laboratory staff, including scheduling, training, and evaluating performance
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of laboratory testing, including quality control and quality assurance
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including The Joint Commission, College of American Pathologists, and CLIA
  • Manage laboratory inventory, including reagents, supplies, and instrument service contracts
  • Develop and implement processes to improve laboratory efficiency and reduce waste
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as medical technology or laboratory science
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, including supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
