Position Overview
The Ultrasound Imaging Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality ultrasound services across various patient demographics and clinical settings.


Key Responsibilities
The registered Sonographer will:

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations with precision and care.
  • Ensure all patient and procedural information is verified and accurate.
  • Prepare patients for their exams and provide necessary education to patients and their families.
  • Process imaging results and effectively communicate findings to the medical team.
  • Maintain organized records and assist in the management of departmental operations.
  • Participate in ongoing educational and training programs to uphold clinical competencies.


Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ideally with at least two advanced certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification obtained within the first week of employment.
