We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Big Bend Regional Medical Center.
As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations using ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
Responsibilities:
\u2022 Performs diagnostic sonographic examinations
\u2022 Schedules and coordinates tests, records test results, and prepares and maintains operational logs
\u2022 Calibrates and maintains equipment and orders supplies when needed
Requirements:
\u2022 Requires a two-year allied health degree
\u2022 Successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology
\u2022 At least 2 years of experience in the field
\u2022 Requires registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
