Relief Support Specialist

Overview
As a Relief Direct Support Professional with Racker, you will have the opportunity to build a flexible schedule that fits your availability, covering shifts as needed. This role is part of our Residential Program, where you will support individuals with developmental disabilities with their daily living activities, creating opportunities to be full and engaged members of their communities.
Responsibilities
• Assist, guide, and support individuals in day-to-day activities
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including household tasks such as meal planning and preparation, laundry, and light housework
• Support individuals in developing relationships, establishing ties with their community, and working towards their goals and dreams
• Accompany individuals to activities within their community
• Implement Staff Action Plans (SAP's) and document daily, Support Plans, and Plans of Protective Oversight
• Administer medications and assist medical staff as needed
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team approach to provide comprehensive support to individuals
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Commitment to furthering human interdependence and upholding standards of professionalism
