At Synectics, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Associate to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for conducting in-vivo toxicology experiments using a broad range of scientific and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-vivo toxicology experiments using a variety of scientific and technical skills.
  • Collaborate with the Study Director to draft study protocols and schedule and implement all activities involved in the study.
  • Perform technical procedures including animal handling, administration of test articles, clinical monitoring and care of animals, and meticulous documentation of findings.
  • Review and understand company, IACUC, and regulatory policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to the review and update of standard operating procedures and working instructions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor or Master of Science in a biological sciences field or Laboratory Animal Technician Certification.
  • Experience running toxicology studies at a CRO.
  • Excellent laboratory citizenship, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to work up to 2 weekends per month.
  • Experience using in-life data acquisition systems.
  • At least 3 years of related experience as an in-vivo technician conducting toxicology studies at a CRO.
  • Rodent experience is required.
