Mechanical Design Engineer

Randstad is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing detailed working diagrams of products and identifying areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare diagrams and drafts for mechanical devices and machines
- Design fixtures for internal use in assembly, testing, and machining environments in collaboration with our engineering and production management teams
- 3D-print prototype parts and internal fixtures
- Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
- Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
- Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
- Create internal documentation, including ECNs, assembly drawings, and written work instructions
- Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams
Requirements:
- 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience with Auto CAD, Inventor, and New product Design
- Fixture design and prototyping skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
