About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves working with a variety of stakeholders, including coders, managers, and other team members. As a Coding Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing medical records, identifying areas for improvement, and developing strategies to address any issues. You will also be responsible for communicating with team members and stakeholders, providing feedback and guidance on coding practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate and Timely Coding - Ensure that all coding is accurate and up-to-date, and that all coding practices and procedures are followed.
  • Quality Control - Identify and address any issues with coding practices and procedures, and develop strategies to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with team members and stakeholders to provide feedback and guidance on coding practices and procedures.
  • Analysis and Reporting - Analyze data and provide reports on coding practices and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategies for improvement.

Requirements

  • Certification - Must be certified in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
  • Experience - Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in coding, with at least 1 year of experience in a quality assurance role.
  • Skills - Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
