Job Overview

Position: Predictive Maintenance Field Service Technician

Compensation: $22-$28/hr.

Role Summary:

  • The Predictive Maintenance Field Service Technician is responsible for executing field service tasks both on-site and remotely, adhering to established quality protocols and customer specifications. A background in industrial settings is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in repairing and/or maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with at least two of the following operational areas (Refer to Key Responsibilities)
  • Experience with various computer software applications
  • Dedicated, detail-oriented, and willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary to fulfill company and client needs
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in team settings, as many projects involve diverse groups within the organization

Key Responsibilities (Must be able to perform in two or more of the following areas):

  • Field Testing
  • Mechanical Maintenance of AC/DC Motors
  • Electrical Maintenance of AC/DC Motors
  • Control Troubleshooting and Repair
  • Mechanical Repair (Turbine, Gearbox, Pump)

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical applications
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required to meet customer and company demands
  • Travel to customer locations as necessary to complete assignments
  • Participate in training for additional competencies under the guidance of a Manager or Supervisor
  • Assist in training new technicians who may be unfamiliar with operational processes
  • Ensure all tasks are completed following necessary procedures, safety protocols, and equipment guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Exhibit professionalism when interacting with customers, vendors, and service providers
  • Document and report any customer complaints to the quality department, striving to resolve issues promptly
  • Adhere to all quality, safety, and environmental standards, reporting any noncompliance
  • Support special projects as assigned by the Operations Manager, which may evolve into primary responsibilities
  • Encourage continuous improvement through employee suggestions and procedural enhancements
