Job Title: CVOR Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services.

Job Summary:

The CVOR Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the operating room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the proper handling of instruments and equipment
  • Restock supplies and straighten the operating room for next use
  • Take primary call duties for their specialty as assigned
  • Attend required in-services, annual review, and educational programs
  • Knowledge and practice of standards of care, policies, and procedures established by North Mississippi Medical Center
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or LPN or on-the-job training with two years scrub experience in an OR setting
  • Surgical Technologist certification preferred
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required
