CVOR Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled CVOR Technologist to join our team at North Mississippi Health Services. As a CVOR Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, including setting up and arranging supplies, instruments, and equipment.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and other necessary items.
- Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
- Assume care of specimens and pass off pump lines as needed.
- Restock supplies and straighten the operating room for next use.
- High School graduate or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or LPN or on-the-job training with two years scrub experience in an OR setting.
- Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification at HCP Level required.
