The Dewitt Companies is seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator with a background in warehouse administration and logistics. This role requires 2 to 3 years of relevant experience and offers a competitive pay rate.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage administrative duties, including data entry and appointment scheduling.
- Facilitate smooth organizational operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks and events.
- Adhere to local, federal, and industry regulations while maintaining company standards.
- Experience in warehouse management, third-party logistics (3PL), and distribution.
- Knowledge of hazardous freight processing and documentation.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving hazardous materials is preferred.
- Proficient in billing and accrual processes.
- Experience with import and export container operations.
- Proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in warehouse administration within a logistics or 3PL environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
